Mike Tompkins is a Director at JRE Partners and a member of the firm’s investment team. He is responsible for underwriting, executing and managing investment opportunities on behalf of the firm. Mike has worked on transactions across asset types including multifamily, hospitality, office, industrial, and retail, in common and preferred equity capital structures. Mike previously was a member of the investment team at Junius Real Estate Partners, where he joined in 2016. Prior to Junius, Mike was an associate at Greenfield Partners, where he focused on real estate acquisitions and asset management for the private equity firm’s opportunity funds. He began his career in the real estate asset management division of LaSalle Investment Management, a $60 billion global investment management firm. Mike holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.
